Krabi
Located on southern Thailand's east coast, 800 kilometres south of Bangkok, Krabi province is an area of outstanding natural beauty. Classic virgin beaches fringed with towering limestone formations, is an understatement to describe this stunningly beautiful area of Thailand. The Krabi coastline is dotted with rarely visited tropical islands, palm fringed beaches, waterfalls, caves, and strange rock formations.
Krabi has over 150 islands with various recreational opportunities. Dominated by scenic limestone and beautiful secluded beach, Krabi becomes one of the most attractive destinations in the world.
The famous "Phi Phi islands", named "Paradise on Earth" , has never lessened in its amazing beauty which includes beaches, limestone sea cliffs. "Lanta islands" which lies to the South of Krabi Town includes stretches of mangrove with breaks of coral rimmed beaches with rugged hills cased in exotic forest. "Ao Nang" and "Rai Ley Bay" are uniquely beautiful by their nice sand beaches and lime-stone steep sided mountains and cliffs that attract rock climbers from around the world. As well as beautiful and relaxing scenery, Krabi offers an adventure playground for those who like to get "out and about." In the interior, two predominantly mainland national parks, Khao Phanom Bencha and Than Bokk-horani, offer inland scenic attractions including waterfalls and caves, and opportunities for trekking, birdwatching and eco-tours. Ao-Nang
Ao Nang beach is hailed to be one of the finest beaches of the world - white sandy beach stretches to the foot of a conspicuously prominent limestone range. Set in lush tropical gardens and surrounded by coconut trees, the Ao Nang beach offers some of the most dramatic coastal scenery in the world - sandy beaches, abundant marine life, live coral and great underwater visibility nearby – they do wonders in revitalizing the tired & much stressed tourists.
From Ao Nang beach, tourists may hire boats to visit nearby attractions such as Rai Lay Bay, Tham Phra Nang, Sa Phranang located on land to the east of Ao Nang beach, which are ideal sites for swimming, snorkeling or scuba-diving.
It's the beach for those who would rather spend the day peacefully basking in the sun, diving or swimming... Ao Nang beach is thus a dream come true for every nature lover, who craves for the exotic richness of the nature.
